Dear RedTheTown Community,

the year is slowly coming to an end — and with it comes a moment to pause.
A moment to look back.
And above all, a moment to say thank you.

RedTheTown would like to thank you for an incredible year.
A year full of adventures, builds, battles, friendships, and shared memories. Without you, RedTheTown would not be what it is today.

From the very beginning, RedTheTown has stood for Survival — and that has not changed.
Survival is the foundation of our server. With the introduction of the Creative mode, a new game mode was added and opened up new possibilities. Still, one thing remains clear: our heart continues to beat for Survival.

Looking Ahead – What Does 2026 Hold?

This is a question we have been asking ourselves for some time now.
Since the beginning of December, our architect Vex and Uncle Bert have been working intensively on ideas, concepts, and visions for the future of RedTheTown. And we can already say this much: there is a lot to look forward to.

One milestone is already set in stone:
📅 On March 30, 2026, RedTheTown will celebrate its first anniversary.
A moment of pride — and one we want to celebrate together with you.

In addition, RedTheTown plans the following for 2026:

  • Update to version 1.21.11
  • Transition to a modded server
  • Expansion of the team and closer involvement of the community

RedTheTown as a Mod Server – A New Era

In 2026, RedTheTown plans to transition to a modded server.
This means gameplay will be based on selected mods, which will of course be announced and explained in detail at a later time.

Please keep in mind:
RedTheTown is currently in a development and concept phase, with the goal of creating a long-term, balanced, and engaging gameplay experience for everyone. Every player is welcome to bring in their own creativity, ideas, and inspiration.

At the same time, one thing remains essential:
Rules are the foundation of our community. They must be accepted and respected so that everyone can enjoy the server and feel comfortable.

Farewell to PvP in the Farmworld – A Difficult but Necessary Step

One topic that affects many of you — and one that also carries emotional weight for us:

🕊 At the end of December 2025, RedTheTown will say goodbye to PvP in the Farmworld.

This decision was not an easy one. PvP has long been a part of the Farmworld — thrilling for some, frustrating for others. And that is exactly why this change is being made.

From the end of December onward:

  • PvP will be disabled in the Farmworld
  • Players can farm, build, and play peacefully without being constantly killed
  • PvP will remain active in the PvP Arena
  • No items will be lost in the PvP Arena

The no-item-loss system remains one of RedTheTown’s greatest strengths — and it will continue to exist in the future, even as the server transitions into a modded environment.

This farewell is a quiet, somewhat sad moment.
But it is also a step toward more fairness, balance, and enjoyment for everyone.

Finally, we want to sincerely thank you.
For your time.
For your patience.
For your passion.

🎄 The RedTheTown Team wishes you a peaceful Christmas,
✨ a great start into the New Year 2026,
🕯️ a wonderful 4th Advent,
and most importantly: take care of yourselves.

Kind regards,
The RedTheTown Team
